Foam Details

I'm working hard on my SVS-con cosplay right now.

As you might have guessed by now:

IT'S SORA!

I really hope I can manage to make this cosplay in a month! There's so much stuff by buy! Especially fabrics! First I was unsule what to do about those 3 giant zippers he has. I could buy them for 30$ and then I'm not even sure they'll arrive in time. So I decided to make them myself! With....dun dun duuuunn.... Craftfoam!

I'll cover them in plastic and stuff so that they'll look metallic but they'll still have a cartoon-ish look since they don't have the correct zipper-form. But I think that's nice.

Here's a (rough) prototype:

 I also began on the shoulder armor parts. Well... I'm not 100% sure if I'll use these I've made (from craft foam) because they are a lot more rectangular than I though they'd be and Sora's shoulder pads are round.

But somehow I like the form they have so I'll paint one and see how it turns out. The picture below shows the progress of one shoulder pad from 1st sketch to finished (without paint and stuff).
